All of my rings are made by hand in my Devon workshop. This means that I can make your ring to your exact ring size.

If you are unsure of your ring size, then the best and most accurate way to find out is to pay a visit to a local jewellers or come to my studio (by appointment) to be measured.

Here are a few tips for measuring your ring size:

  • Your fingers will fluctuate in size throughout the day, depending on temperature and physical activity. You should not measure your ring size whilst your hands are cold, as your fingers can be up to half a size smaller at this time.

  • A ring with a wider band will feel a little tighter than a very fine ring. If you are opting for a broader style of ring, you may need to go slightly up in size.

  • For a top heavy ring you want a slightly more snug fit so that it doesn’t spin around on your finger. Therefore you may want a slightly smaller size.

  • Your ring should fit comfortably, feeling snug enough when you wear it that it will not fall off, but still be able to fit over your knuckle when you take it off.

  • If you have large knuckles compared to the rest of your finger, your ring may feel a little loose when it is on. It needs to be big enough to slide over your knuckle.

  • If you are buying a ring as a surprise gift, you can take an existing ring of theirs worn on the correct finger to a local jeweller to be sized.

If you can't get your ring sized by a jeweller, order an adjustable ring sizer and I will post one out to you.

Resizing

If you happen to choose the wrong size, I offer a resizing service. Resizing starts from £15 for a standard resize (within 1 size). Resizes larger than 1 size will vary in price depending on the item. Shipping costs to and from the studio is the responsibility of the customer.
